The overall beneficiaries of the SEWA Bharat - SGSY project include rural families with Below Poverty line Status (BPL). The beneficiaries have been divided amongst BPL and non-BPL families in the ratio 80:20. The specific beneficiaries include:

• Women for Micro Finance activities like savings & credit.


• Women for Employment Generation activities such as agarbatti rolling, animal husbandry, horticulture, silk weaving etc.


• Their children for crèches.


• Women, their husbands & children for insurance and health camps.
